The second Print Exchange show is opening June 16 in London! Over 1500 handmade postcards on display along with a selection of framed prints from the likes of Tobin Yelland, Joe Brook, Ed Templeton, Bryce Kanights, Dennis McGrath and many others. I'm really proud to be a part of this. Definitely a must see if you are in the UK.

Powell's is one of my favorite bookstores in the world, so it's awesome
to be a part of a show there, especially with such good people.
Opening next Thursday. Check it if you can.

The second installment of A Night of Skate Videos is happening tomorrow,
this time in conjunction with MOCA's Art in the Streets exhibit.
Tickets are gone, but if you're in the area maybe see what you can pull..
it should be pretty good.

There's now a place for all of the film scans, video footage, and cell phone photos that usually end up collecting dust on my hard drive. The Hunt Image Archive & Life Study Center is home to everything old and new that doesn't make it over here. Enjoy.

With what's unfolding in Japan, the ultimate toll in life & loss is impossible to measure.
But with over 6000 people unaccounted for and nuclear reactors on the brink of a meltdown, the world needs to give aid immediately in any way possible.
Start here by donating to the Red Cross.

Tommy Guerrero's new album Lifeboats and Follies is available now in stores and on iTunes. Also available on the iTunes version is a video that I made for the song Nomadic Static.
The video was shot in Detroit over three days during the summer of 2009. Joe Brook and I met up with some local friends who took us through the city and it's empty factories, schools, office buildings, and rooftops.
I spent quite a bit of time visiting and skating Detroit as a kid and the changes since then are staggering. But what affected me most is that within such an environment there are still so many people dedicated to giving the city life and using their surroundings for something creative.
The video is simply a document of what I saw while I was there. It's mostly a visual study of Detroit's condition, but I hope it also shows a glimpse into the spirit of it's people.

Originally due out last spring, Dylan's Gravis promo is finally released. It's a free DVD in this month's issue of The Skateboard Mag, and it's up here on a mini-site where you can watch it in HD. Dylan and I spent most of last year working on this, and he continued filming up thru the summer. Congrats buddy.

A Vans commercial I just finished with Anthony is now showing here as well as on my site as a quicktime. It'll be airing on FOX during the August 28th Maloof contest coverage. We made the entire thing last month in under 2 weeks. Song is "Y-Camp" by the Drunk Injuns.

Last fall I luckily ended up in NYC at the same time Duane Pitre was performing a live show in Brooklyn. He was playing at a venue where they project videos onto all four walls, so we quickly arranged to create some visuals for the 35 minute set (two songs).
Excerpts one & two are now up here. Longer versions are up at duanepitre.com.

Last month I was contacted by a fan of Tommy Guerrero who'd always wondered who shot the cover of Loose Grooves and Bastard Blues until he stumbled upon this site. He bought some prints and is now making a limited run of shirts for his store Slowpoke in Hirosaki, Japan.
Available soon.

Photos look much better on the wall than a computer screen, so I'm happy to have recently sold quite a few thru this site. Prices range on size & printing method, and all are custom made to order & unframed. Contact me if interested.
